An album of amazingly diverse sound and styles, from true symphonic RPI structures to world, new age, jazz, folk, psychedelia and many other forms. 1. "Prima Della Fine" () starts the album off with a recording of a GEORGE CARLIN rant on politics. Amazing! What a way to start an album! YES! A group with some guts! (10/10) 2.

The best tracks are the Golden Veil, Mare Imbrium, Time and Tide, and All She Wrote. The Golden Veil has great atmosphere and is a very well-crafted example of middle-eastern music with modern instrumentation. Mare Imbrum is very melodic and builds to an awesome climax/5(5).

The album comes to an end with Jason DePue’s arrangement of Schubert’s timeless “Ave Maria.”. The brothers’ glistening violin melodies sparkle above delicate piano arpeggios, ending the album on a gorgeous, poignant note. “This is the only song on the CD that involves no more and no less than the DePue Brothers,” Jason DePue noted.

 · FOR SOME, 42 is a pretty grand old age for bringing out a debut solo album, but Gabbay is clearly a firm believer in going with the flow and allowing things to happen when the time is ripe.

  2. referencing Middle Eastern Thought, 12", EP, METP The "rare" one on this label I believe, cool piece, and the track BOXCUTTERS makes it perfect! As far as I know the track BOXCUTTERS was not on the album/5(14).

  3.  ·  · "Polarized" begins with “Tides,” an introductory piece that describes how life experiences can be like tides of different shapes, sizes and extremes. It begins quietly with mostly piano and strings, building gradually and adding percussion and bass to create a vibrant Middle Eastern 5/5(8).
